Experience

Mrs. Nguyen has coordinated the administration of numerous interference proceedings, ranging from pre-interference matters to appeals to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mrs. Nguyen is well versed in the rules and practices relating to the submission of papers to the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences and to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mrs. Nguyen has extensive experience in the administrative activities involved in the preparation for depositions, hearings, case records, joint appendices, etc. Many of the cases in which Mrs. Nguyen has been involved required the coordination of numerous law firms and real parties in interest.

            Mrs. Nguyen has coordinated the administration of ex parte patent prosecution, district court litigation, appeals, and foreign opposition proceedings. Mrs. Nguyen routinely coordinates and executes patent portfolio monitoring strategies, including the generation of periodic reports relating to activities in complex foreign and domestic patent families.

            Prior to joining ASHE, P.C., Mrs. Nguyen was an Interference Practice Specialist and Case Coordinator in the Interference and Litigation Practice Groups at a Northern Virginia intellectual property law firm.
